The Research and Development Committee was formed with the objective to enhance research activities and facilities for research scholars as well as faculty members of the college. The committee aims to encourage all to undertake innovative activities to improve the research environment of the college. In fact, it is the function of any research and development committee to provide platform for creativity and innovation to flourish in an organization through high quality, scientific, inter-disciplinary or subject specific new theoretical and empirical research. Presently, the committee is headed by Dr. Alka Sahoo, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Sociology with a strong team of 10 other highly qualified and research oriented academicians from various departments of the college.
