Department of education is a perfect example of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach in education. The department tries to align its activities with the goals of making responsible individual citizens. The department has shaped its unique philosophy, which finds reflection in its all the programs through inculcating core values of democracy, freedom, dedication, creativity, social responsibility, diversity, inclusion, collaborative and experiential learning, innovation, sincerity and excellence. The theme of the department is “Collective intelligence”. Collective intelligence is shared or group intelligence that emerges from the collaboration, collective efforts, and competition of many individuals and appears in consensus decision making.
This is basically the strength of our department. In the department, we work as a team, exchanging ideas and generating new ways for effective teaching and learning.
