The Department of Zoology is a constituent entity of the Faculty of Science, Vardhaman College, Bijnor since 1960 for the Under Graduate Students. M.Sc. (Zoology) has been started in the year 2004 under self-finance scheme for the P.G. Students with specialization in Fish & Fisheries. Since its inception, it has been the foremost centre for learning in all aspects of Animal Sciences. Department has a zoology lecture theatre with smart board facility to make teaching more effective which cement students’ knowledge level in different topics, more prominently which helps students to achieve their goal. The present premises of the department showcase well-equipped and well maintained laboratories separate for U.G. & P.G. students. Zoology Museum is exemplary and known for its setup with diverse collection of Snakes, Liger, Human foetus and animals from different phyla so it sets an example of exclusiveness amongst all the colleges M.J.P. Rohilkhand University.
