Being the popular subject of Social Sciences and spatial sciences, students choose geography at graduate and postgraduate level. Modern Techniques proves that geography is the only discipline which locate any phenomenon on earth through geographical information system (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). Due to the shortage of staff, we restrict admission in BA-I admission.
Recently we formed “Ptolemy Geographical Society”. The objective of the society is to groom the students for enhancing and strengthening his hold over skills in geographical knowledge. For examinations and competitions, we arrange geographical quiz paper for MA final students. Department has library for PG students. Without seeing different phenomenon (Mountain, Plates, Desert, Sea coast), students can’t understand geography properly.
