1. The work for establishment of botanical garden is in progress under the supervision of Dr. Anita Chaudhary. Many seasonal, ornamental, medicinal, cactus/succulents, aquatic and other plants related to the syllabi of the students are planted with the active participation of students to inculcate the awareness among them for their environment.
2. There is a collection of books in the department which are issued to the needy students particularly those from economically weaker section.
3. The department has a lecture theatre fitted with LCD projector. The faculty members use it during routine class room teaching in which they show animations, pictures, photographs etc. as and when required. It makes easy to understand difficult topics among the students.
